The VL Ring Crown family by Louis Poulsen derives from a lamp designed by architect Vilhelm Lauritzen for the Danish Broadcasting House in Copenhagen in the 1940s. The VL Ring Crown wall sconce and pendant versions, with their characteristically organic form, emit light directed primarily downwards. The opal glass provides a comfortable and uniform illumination of the area around the fixture.

Materials:

  • Spun steel shade and base with steel arm. On/off switch on wall plate. Mounts directly to finished surface over a 4-inch octagonal junction box. 
  • Shades: Handblown, triple-layered, polished opal glass.
  • Suspension: Untreated brass, will patinate.
