Founded by three college friends—two architects and a sculptor—the goal was simple: to make great design accessible to everyone. More than 25 years later, that vision is still going strong. In fact, in 2018, Blu Dot won the prestigious Cooper Hewitt National Design Award in the 'Product Design' category. And despite its growth, the company continues to design from its original Minneapolis studio.
