The PH Artichoke Pale Rose by Louis Poulsen is a modern take on the original PH Artichoke Lamp which was designed by Poul Henningsen in 1958 for Langelinie Pavilionen, a modernist Copenhagen restaurant, where the iconic pendant continues to inspire guests. Each of the 72 leaves on the PH Artichoke are carefully mounted on the frame by hand, giving the pendant its distinctive shape, which inspired its name, while also ensuring glare-free light from every angle. The leaves of the original PH Artichoke had a rosy hue on the inner sides, which inspired the color of the PH Artichoke Pale Rose, a pendant that is a beautiful statement piece.
Each PH Pale Rose Artichoke is created by hand. Each of the 72 leaves are manually checked by skilled workers in Vejen and then mounted upon the frame by hand, to ensure the highest quality.
