The Veng lounge chair is one of the most dramatic chairs Torbjørn Bekken designed. Bekken graduated from the National Academy of Craft and Art Industry in 1946. He designed the chair while working for the innovative interior design company, Rastad & Relling Tegnekontor. It has an intriguing dynamic between the slender, curved backrest and the highly sculptural armrests. The Veng lounge chair is both elegant and bold at the same time. Designed in 1960.
Materials: Made of oiled oak, white oiled oak, smoke-stained lacquered oak, or oiled walnut with leather or textile upholstery.
