VL 38 Table Lamp

The VL 38 Table Lamp, designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen in the late 1930s for Copenhagen’s Radiohuset building, is a timeless classic. Created in collaboration with Louis Poulsen, the lamp first appeared in catalogues after WWII and has since become a symbol of Danish design. Relaunched in 2016 with energy-efficient LED technology, the VL 38 is available in a refined white/brass version, along with a striking black edition introduced in 2017. The black version offers a more defined outline while preserving the soft, curvy lines of the original design, combining vintage aesthetics with modern functionality.
